June 2 Youth Workshop Funny Faces in Wood

This 4-hour workshop on the banks of the Etowah River for two, an adult and one youth ages 8-11, will focus on the absurdities of the funny face! Taking cues from the portrait work of Pablo Picasso and more, the workshop attendees will craft their own hilarious people out of layered wood assemblage. We will learn a brief history of the inspiration artists, learn how to work with wood, and discover fun color palettes.

Workshop takes place at The River House Arts in Dahlonega, Georgia, June 2, 2026, 1-5pm.

INCLUDED:
